Privacy Policy for NH.lv Computer Learning Centers, Inc. (Effective March 11, 2014)
This statement discloses the privacy practices for the NH.lv Computer Learning Centers, Inc. websites and informs you about:
- what personally identifiable information is collected;
- what organization is collecting the information;
- how the information is used and disclosed to third parties;
- what choices are available to you regarding collection, use, distribution, and correction of the information; and
-  what kind of security procedures are in place to protect the loss,  misuse or alteration of information under the company’s control.
“Personal  information” is information that would allow someone to identify or  contact you, including, for example, your full name, address, telephone  number or email address.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into  and subject to the terms of our Terms of Use at  http://www.NH.lv/termsofuse and you agree to be bound by its  terms and conditions. This policy only addresses our activities from our  servers. Other sites (including those that we link to and third party  sites or services which we co-brand, such as email) may have their own  policies, which we do not control, and thus are not addressed by this  policy.
Introduction
To provide you with the best possible  service, NH.lv from time to time may ask for personal  information. You may update or access the personal information you  provide for your profile at any time on www.NH.lv,  (collectively, with the E-Tips site (defined below),and the NH Learning  Management System site, the "NH Website"). This can be done by logging  on to any NH Website and selecting either "Edit Your Profile", "Change  my Profile" or "Edit Your User Information." For security measures, in  order to protect your information, you must first enter your user name  and password before you can make any changes to your user profile. When  you update your user profile, your new information will update our  records that day.
This policy is to make you aware as to who is  collecting the information, what type of information is gathered and  tracked, what the information is for, and with whom the information is  shared.
Attention: www.NH.lv is the main home page to  NH.lv Computer Learning Centers, Inc., which has the general  privacy policy for the NH Website. This policy illustrates customer  information that could be collected throughout the NH Website. It is  possible that not all personal information outlined in this policy will  be used, but we want you to be aware of our policy and understand our  procedures.
Information Gathered and How it is Used
There are  areas in which you can browse on the NH Website without giving us  personal information. There are, however, certain elective areas of the  NH Website, where, prior to entry, you will be asked for personal  information. This information will be used by NH.lv to correspond  with you, provide service and support, present a more personalized  experience as you navigate the sites, process your orders, or supply you  with requested information. The NH Website may ask for the following  information when collecting information through the registration process  (or new member registration form) that allows access to the NH Website:  user's first and last name, email address, mailing address, phone  number and center location preference. The NH Website also provides the  ability to request information and an Information Request Form will also  ask for personal information from you. The information you provide  through the Information Request Form is shared with the Affiliate or  Franchise center, (collectively "Network Members"), the user has  specified to engage in transactions or provide future services. We  contractually require that the Network Members agree to abide by the  restrictions on use and disclosure of personal information set out in  this Privacy Policy. If you submit Personal Information in response to a  Career Opportunity, please be advised that your personal information  will be distributed within the company so that the hiring manager can  contact you and potentially discuss an employment opportunity with you.
If  you take advantage of the "Live Help" feature used on any of the sites,  please be advised that this feature is managed and provided by a third  party contractor. This one-on-one technical help is provided as a  courtesy to NH.lv customers. If you take advantage of the  opportunity, a live person will gather your user name to facilitate the  service, but will be contractually prohibited from disclosing your user  name to others.
If you wish to receive information on how to  become a NH.lv Franchisee, NH.lv will collect from the  Franchise Information Registration Form on the NH Website your name,  address, email address, what territory you are interested in, time frame  on when you would like to invest in your own business, and how you  heard about us. The purpose for collecting this information is to enable  our sales teams to respond to your inquiries with a better  understanding of what type of training you are interested in purchasing.
If  you register with http://www.newhorizonsetips.com (the "E-Tips site"),  you will receive weekly information via e-mail which is based on four  different categories, depending upon the preferences you select. In  addition, you may elect to receive promotional offers from NH.lv  and from other third parties.
If you register with  http://lms.nhcms.net (the “NH Learning Management System site”), you may  receive emails from the system confirming and reminding you of various  actions you have taken with us.  This includes confirming a class  registration or reminding you of an upcoming class.
With Whom NH.lv Shares Information
Except  as specified herein or unless NH.lv has your permission or is  required by law, NH.lv will not sell, rent, lease or otherwise  provide your personal information to others from ways different than  stated in this privacy statement.
Please remember that when you  submit information to a discussion group or some other public forum, the  information submitted will be deemed public information and will not be  considered confidential.
When you give us personal information  for the E-Tips site, it is compiled on our behalf by a third party who  has been contractually obligated not sell it or transfer it to anyone  else. Instead, it is used to provide you with promotional offers from  either NH.lv or third parties, but only at your direction.
As  a general practice, we do not provide your personally identifiable  information to third parties. So, for example, we do not sell your email  address or your name and personal demographic information to mass  marketers. However, by registering your profile on the NH Website, you  may receive emails automatically generated from the NH Website that are  directly related to your activity on the NH Website and are not used for  marketing materials and purposes. Further, on particular pages where we  ask for your personally identifiable information, we may explicitly  tell you that the data we are collecting on that page will be shared  with third parties, in which case those disclosures shall override  anything to the contrary in this policy. We will not share your  information with a third party who does not contractually agree to  maintain the confidentiality of that information using reasonable  security measures.
In some situations, we share your personally  identifiable information with third parties who provide services to our  site in order to enhance the functionality available to you on our web  site, and to provide you with information on new products and services.  Further, in some cases, we use your personally identifiable information  to provide information to you, such as to send newsletters to you that  you request or to personalize the site in accordance with your requests.
Cookies and Other Technologies
The  NH Website may collect anonymous information from your communication  connection itself, which consists of network routing, equipment  information like browser type, date, and time. Our system will also  search your computer to see if there are "cookies" previously set by the  NH Website. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer  tied to information about the user.
The data we collect from  "Cookie" technology on our site contains no personal information and is  used in the aggregate to improve our services, product offerings and  Website content, as well as to analyze traffic to our public website.
We  also use cookies to keep track of your personalization options so that  we can deliver content specific to your interests each time you visit  us. These cookies are not tied to your personal information.
We  do not offer an opt-out on our site for cookies, however browsers do  provide you with information and control over cookies. Although you are  not able to disable the cookie feature on this site, you are always free  to decline our cookies if your browser permits, but some parts of the  NH Website may not work properly if you do.
Choice/Opt-out
If  you decide to submit an Information Request Form, you will occasionally  receive information on products, services, or special deals through  announcement messages or newsletters. If you do not wish to receive our  marketing materials and promotion communications, you may opt-out when  submitting your personal information by sending us an email at  webmaster@NH.lv. If you chose to opt out please be advised  that you will not be able to access the NH Website.
Compliance with U.S.-EU Safe Harbor and U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Framework Privacy Principles.
To  the extent that the NH Website is used to collect, process or store  personal data belonging to individuals located in, or employed by  entities located in the European Union (“EU Parties”), or Switzerland,  our handling of that data adheres to both the US-EU Safe Harbor  Principles and the U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Frameworks (“Safe Harbor”).  Although we use reasonable efforts to verify the accuracy of data  submitted by users of the NH Website, users are expected to update their  personal information by going to the NH Website when necessary to  ensure that their personal data is accurate, complete and current. We  are committed to cooperating with data protection authorities located in  Europe and Switzerland to resolve and remedy any disputes that arise  regarding data connected to individuals located in (or employed by  entities located in) Europe and Switzerland.

We encourage you to investigate and ask  questions before disclosing information to third parties. If you do not  want your information to be used, do not share your information with  those sites. Third party links include learning centers outside the  United States on the NH Website.
On the  http://www.NH.lv website, under "Company," the investor  relations and career centers, and under "Student Resources", the Exam  Prep and Learning Port, are hosted by a third party. NH.lv is not  responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
Security
Only  employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for  example, a customer service representative) are granted access to  personally identifiable information. Our employees must use  password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they  return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to user  information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our  security and privacy practices.
We have established and maintain  reasonable security procedures to protect the confidentiality, security  and integrity of your personally identifiable information. “Perfect  security,” however, does not exist on the Internet. Although your  privacy is very important to us, due to the existing legal regulatory  and security environment, we cannot fully ensure that your private  communications and other personally identifiable information will not be  disclosed to third parties. For example, we may be forced to disclose  information to the government or third parties under certain  circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access  transmissions or private communications. Additionally, in the unlikely  event we need to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries,  we can (and you authorize us to do so) disclose any information about  you to private entities, law enforcement or other government officials  as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate.

The  community forums hosted in the NH Website are monitored by NH.lv  and visible to the Network Members. Any information you place on these  message boards is public information. NH.lv may, in its sole  discretion, delete any inappropriate postings. The community forum is an  added benefit for you to communicate with others on specific technical  topics. NH.lv is not responsible for the content of the postings  in these forums, but reserves the right to manage content as set out in  the NH Website Terms of Use.
The community forum on  https://lms.nhcms.net is hosted by Logical Operations and branded New  Horizons. Please note that any information you place on these message  boards is public information. NH.lv may, in its sole discretion,  delete any inappropriate postings. The community forum is an added  benefit for you to communicate with others on specific technical topics.  NH.lv does not reply to the postings.
Policy Updates
We  may update this policy from time to time, to ensure we are using,  collecting, and providing information in the same manner that is  disclosed. If we decide to use personal information in a manner  different than disclosed, we will use reasonable efforts to post any  material changes on our NH home page thirty (30) days before  implementing them, thus providing you an opportunity to opt-out, if you  determine that you are no longer interested in allowing access to your  personal information.
